Biodegradable Bendy White Drinking Straw
These biodegradable and compostable flexible bioplastic straws are made from PLA (Polylactide). This is derived from corn sugar or dextrose that comes from plants with starch. The dextrose is fermented and distilled into lactic acid and it is this lactic acid which is transformed into plastic-like resin called PLA.
The bioplastic material is comparable in strength and weight to normal plastic but are made from a readily renewable resource.
These straws are TGA listed and comply with all industrial standards.
Each straw is individually packed, of medical grade, with a durable and robust design.
