Eclypse Adherent Sacral Dressing
Each dressing combines a rapid wicking polyester and viscose woven face with a sheet of highly absorbent crystals and mechanically bonded cellulose pad. The beige polyethylene backing is highly breathable, it provides a viral and bacterial proof barrier in addition to preventing strike-through.
The Eclypse Adherent dressings combine the same technology with a soft silicone contact layer. This layer provides gentle adherence to help reduce pain and tissue damage in removal.
Eclypse Adherent Sacral is a dressing for the sacral area with a Silfix soft silicone wound contact layer. The dressing will only adhere to dry skin surrounding the wound and can be easily lifted for adjustment without losing its adherent properties.
Eclypse Border and Eclypse Border Oval are super absorbent dressings with a soft silicone contact layer and border with added hypo-allergenic adhesive on the border to ensure the dressing remains in place. These dressings have the ability to absorb 50% more than the rest of the range.
Eclypse Boot is a super absorbent dressing, anatomically designed to be applied securely to the lower limb area to manage wound exudate.
The above Eclypse dressings will rapidly absorb fluid to a capacity of 80g/100cm2/24hr which is equivalent to 17 times their weight in fluid.
Eclypse Non-Backed is the next generation of non-backed superabsorbers. It features a double CrystaLock Technology layer, Advancis Medical’s unique superabsorbent crystals, separated by a lateral wicking layer, and two non-adherent outer layers. CrystaLock Technology is highly absorbent, forming a gel when in contact with exudate. With an absorbency of 228g/cm the need for stacking is reduced so more than one dressing per changed is rarely needed. CrystaLock Technology locks exudate away, which reduces potential leaks and reduces the risk of maceration.
