Customisation on small runs

Our packs are nothing unique. It’s the fact that we customise them at low cost,
no matter how small the production run.

One DHB had two packs they needed for their dialysis procedures: a subclavian pack and a fistula pack. But when they made a request with their previous supplier to make changes on a small production run, that supplier made the call to discontinue it. It just wasn’t worth their while, apparently.

Well, not for us. Size doesn’t make a difference, when it comes to making a difference. We asked our customer what it was they wanted, and made exactly that. Two packs customised to their specific clinical requirements, for their order of only 1200 packs a year.

The difference? They now have packs targeted to their hospital, that don’t waste unused products, or are lacking in critical ones. More importantly, this was the turning point in our relationship. Trust has grown, more customisations have been made, and six years on we’ll still do anything, even for just one pack.
